Dividend Dolphin

Last friday my position of Ahold Delhaize took a hit of more than 7% at one moment. I took the opportunity to expand on my position. I bought another 20 shares at a price of €15.50 each. Including transaction fees the total price of this purchase €312.06. With this purchase I tripled my position from 10 to 30 shares. With these shares my annual dividend income increases with about 9 Euros to €410. My cost basis dropped tot €15.90 per share. At current market price AD yields 3.68%, my yield on cost is now 3.58%. It's been a while since I posted my last blog. We were away for holiday vacation for a couple of weeks, camping in France. After that work kept me busy much more than I would have wanted but now it is time to blog again. Now, just before the end of the month I finally have time to report my dividend income of July. The first month of the quarter is alway a bit of an off month for my dividend income. I can report a dividend income after taxes of  €14.44. The following companies paid me for owning their shares: Coca Cola (KO): €7.71 Whitestone REIT (WSR): €5.17 Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS): €1.56 The still declining rate of the Dollar versus the Euro is still hurting my dividend income in Euro's. While my portfolio is slowly growing, my dividend income isn't, On the other side, it is also cheaper for me to buy US stocks.
